Middletown, PA, November 2009 – ACT announces the development of new high efficiency AC-DC power supply for ground mobile military applications. The SR 2456 converts 115 Vrms, 60 Hz, single phase input power to a single +28 VDC, 1,000 Watt output voltage. Low harmonic distortion is achieved using an active PFC and this custom power supply achieves efficiencies >83%. Up to three SR 2456’s can be connected in parallel providing more than 3,000 watts of output power. Efficient heat transfer is accomplished through the mounting baseplate
