CNC Machinist/Programmer 

Follow quality requirements and safety procedures to program and machine components per drawing dimensional and tolerance specifications utilizing CNC machining centers available within the Machine Shop.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years training or equivalent commensurate combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to program and machine complex components with horizontal and vertical machining centers
  • Demonstrated ability to program with a CAM system, GibbsCAM and/or Mastercam preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with G&M codes
  • Demonstrated foundation in geometric tolerancing and dimensions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
  • Ability to read blueprints and bills of materials
  • Computer experience to include proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems (Syteline preferred)

Electrical Design Engineer 

Designs, develops, improves and tests new or existing custom electronic products from concept through production.  Interfaces with customers on requirements and provides technical proposals in response to requests for quotes.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE or BSEET
  • Engineering skills to include analog design with preference to power supply design experience
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask

Electronics Assembler 

Assemble electronic assemblies and subassemblies by hand soldering components such as resistors, capacitors, transformers and connectors onto printed circuit boards and connect wires to the assemblies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years experience handling electronic assembly and components including hand soldering of components preferred (J-Standard soldering a plus)
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Electronics Test Technician 

Conducts a variety of electronic and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies and parts to ensure operation in accordance with specifications. Applies knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two year/technical school in electronic or commensurate applicable experience
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions including electronic theory math
  • Ability to read blueprints and bills of material
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) and Adobe Reader
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, color vision and depth perception

Inventory Control/Shipping Clerk 

Preserves product during all stages of stockroom processing, including proper identification to maintain conformity requirement, handling, packaging, storage, shelf-life control, sotck rotation and prevention and detection of FOD. Provides conforming product and achieves on-time delivery through sustaining accurate inventory locations. Concludes manufacturing cycle by packaging and shipping finished product to the customer.

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ yeas previous inventory control experience preferred
  • Strong computer literacy. Computer experience to include proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strength in effectively communicating with others to build positive working relationships

    Metal Shop Fabricator/Finisher 

    Follow quality requirements and safety procedures to fabricate components per drawing dimensional and tolerance specifications. Use hand tools and manual computer controlled fabrication equipment. Finish machined and fabricated components by removing sharp edges and burrs and prepare the surface for further finishing. Applies final finishes to component per print and procedure specifications using chemical conversion, electro-chemical or paint systems.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent commensurate combination of education and experience preferred
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
    • Ability to read blueprints and bills of material
    • Ability to seek our solutions independently and work with minimal supervision

    Production Supervisor 

    Supervise and coordinate activities of staff engaged in manufacture of components or finished goods of electronic assemblies. Plan flow of work within department to ensure that customer deadlines are met. Establish work procedures to meet production schedules. Establish and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Associates degree or equivalent in technical field; BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred
    • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing preferred) including supervision/leadership role
    • Strong technical skills in electrical and electronics
    • High customer focus and respect for lead time and delivery deadlines
    • Proven knowledge of how to implement process controls in production in order to deliver high quality product with lean principles (Six Sigma, Lean or 6S) in mind
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer skills including ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
    • Proven ability to strategize, communicate and lead improvement initiatives (cost reduction, quality and efficiency) to gain buy-in at all levels and drive execution of plan
    • Ability to read and write business procedures, general business periodicals, manuals, design document and other correspondence
    • IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 certification(s) preferred

    Quality Assurance Inspector 

    Inspect electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components and parts for conformance to drawings, procedures and specifications at all stages of operation including Receiving, In-process and Final Inspection. Provide guidance to ACT employees in following proper procedures and protocols to meet quality requirements. Present knowledge and training in area departments and be a reference guide in attaining the highest quality standards.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years experience handling electronic assembly and components
    • Previous inspection experience preferred
    • Ability to read blueprints and bills of material
    • Ability to interpret engineering and assembly drawings and specifications
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel and Access
    • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Specific vision including depth perception and color
    • IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 certification(s) preferred
