The Control Assurance Experts

Our role as a trusted supplier to the military and defense sector means we have adopted some of the most stringent quality control processes in the industry. ACT’s quality management system is certified to AS9100 and valid for the design and manufacture of ruggedized custom power supplies and electronic devices. ACT’s AS9100 certification is a dual certification as it meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 as well. We are also equipped to meet other military standards. As a result, we’re able to exceed the performance, environmental, miniaturization and other requirements of our most demanding customers.

Vertically-Integrated Manufacturing

An investment in vertically-integrated manufacturing has enabled our Middletown, PA facility to fulfill even the most complex orders. We’re equipped to handle every aspect of the design and production processes, from sheet metal fabrication and machining to potting, staking and conformal coating. Electrical, temperature, vibrational and other testing is also completed on-site. This allows us to maintain the high levels of quality control our clients value.

A superior product is only one of the benefits of vertical integration, however. As a result of vertical integration, we’re a more flexible organization overall, improving our ability to respond to customer requirements and to prioritize production capacity in a way that reduces lead times. This means custom military power supplies and other complex orders can be completed faster. It also gives us more control over our costs, so we can offer a superior quality product for less.
