Advanced Conversion Technology has extensive experience in developing rugged military linear power supplies for low noise applications. We are familiar with and have designed custom AC-DC rugged military linear power supplies that are capable of handling the low and high voltage input transients that occur on many of the militaries primary input power specifications such as MIL-STD-704.

For DC input type of applications ACT engineers have combined switching regulators on the DC input side and then linear regulators are utilized to provide the low noise outputs that are achievable using a linear approach. This custom approach combines the high efficiency of switching power supplies with the low noise outputs of a linear topology.
