1964 Dual Laser Diode Driver DC/DC Power Supply

This DC/DC converter operates from rectified three phase 400 Hz input power and produces two output voltages. This potted power supply is designed to provide power to drive two laser diode banks. The load for this power supply is a 2000 µF capacitor with discharge pulses of 100 Amps for 300 µsec. It’s potted construction and iridited aluminum housing affords mechanical protection and good thermal conductivity.
