Products
ACT has produced an extensive range of custom AC-DC power supplies and
custom DC-DC power supplies, as well as custom Linear, Rack Mounted VME and
COTS power supplies for the U.S Military forces including Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard and the Marines. Our AC-DC, DC-DC, Linear, Rack Mounted VME and COTS military power supplies are designed and manufactured using a variety of military specifications. Our AC-DC, DC-DC, Linear, Rack Mounted and VME power supplies are typically designed to meet one of the primary military input power specifications: MIL-STD-704 (Air Force), MIL-STD-1275 (Army) and MIL-STD-1399 (Navy) and any of their revisions. Many power supplies are qualified to the various requirements defined in MIL-STD-810 (Environmental Test Methods), MIL-STD-461 (EMI) and MIL-STD-901 (High Impact Shock). Every AC-DC, DC-DC, Linear, Rack Mounted and VME military power supply is 100% burned-in and acceptance tested and many are put through Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) based on specific program requirements. ACT’s Quality has been certified to ISO 9001 and also meets the requirements of MIL-I-45208 (Quality) and workmanship is per J-STD-001D and MIL-HDBK-454.

Applications
Advanced Conversion Technology, Inc. is a company that has been designing and manufacturing complex
custom AC-DC power supplies and custom DC-DC power supplies, as well
as Linear, Rack Mounted and VME power supplies for military and industrial applications for over 25 years. Our expertise covers a broad range of technologies and products such as
COTS power supplies, EMI filters, accelerometers, signal conditioners, microprocessors, software and load / torque cells. ACT’s competencies with analog, digital and mixed signal designs makes ACT ideally suited for developing a broad range of custom products.
Some of these competencies are listed below;
Power Supplies - Extensive design and production expertise for power supplies that have been used in all branches of the military. ACT has an extensive portfolio of proven military AC-DC, DC-DC, Linear, Rack Mounted and VME power supply designs that have been used in most conceivable environments and applications.
EMI Filters - Designed and produced as separate products or
as an integral component of an EMI compliant power supply or signal
conditioner design.
Signal Conditioning - low noise, very precise and stringent
environmental applications.
Sensors - we understand how to design and interface with many
different types of sensors such as, accelerometers (MEMS and
Piezoelectric) and complex and tightly specified load and torque
cells.
Digital - experience with different microprocessors and
microcontrollers in embedded and stand alone designs.
Digital Overlay - experience with many different I/O
protocols and A/D and D/A designs.
Software - from high level languages to microprocessor
programming.
Additionally our many years of
experience in the military marketplace makes us very comfortable
with all the requirements that are associated with designing,
developing and producing military level products. This experience
enables us to take designs from initial conception to full scale
production as a program matures and evolves over many years. |
